What to know before you start
What one coloring book looks like, start to finish
Say the niche is large-print sea turtles for older colorists — specific audience, specific subject, far less crowded than “ocean coloring book” on its own.
- Choose the coloring format, an 8.5 × 11 trim and 30 pages.
- Describe the theme and the reader. BookBudLC turns that into 30 separate scene prompts — a hatchling on wet sand, a turtle under a reef arch, and so on — rather than thirty versions of one turtle.
- Review the preview. Regenerate any individual page that came out too busy for large-print colorists; the other 29 are untouched.
- Generate the full-wrap cover. The art is AI; the title and byline are set as real print text over it.
- Edit the listing draft. Keep the seven backend keywords off the title so they add search coverage instead of repeating it.
- Download the interior PDF, cover PDF and metadata CSV, then upload to your own KDP account. In Title Setup leave low-content unchecked, assign a print ISBN, and declare AI-generated images.
